Gregory Levasseur, who is inseparable, often devotes himself to directing and Alexandre Aja to directing since his first short film Over the Rainbow in 1997 , presented in official competition at the Cannes Film Festival and nominated for the Palme d'Or short film , and Award for Best Short Film at Molodist International Film Festival .
After their first feature film Furia in 1999, which is a failure, they write Haute Tension, which is very successful at festivals in France and abroad at the Catalonia International Film Festival, where they award the Best Director Award and the Grand Prix of European fantasy film, especially at the Independent Film Festival of Sundance in 2004 which allows them to take the first steps in Hollywood.
